Kevin Pollock - 1000th NHL Game

Referee Pollock to reach this milestone tonight in Pittsburgh

The Kincardine, Ontario native will enter an elite group when he will be working his 1,000th NHL game in Pittsburgh tonight with the San Jose Sharks visiting the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The 15 NHL seasons veteran will be working this special assignment with officials Wes McCauley, Pierre Racicot and Steve Barton.

Pollock who has worked his 1st NHL game in Nashville on March 28th, 2000 (New York Islanders vs Nashville Predators) has also worked the most recent Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
