Ryan Gibbons - First NHL Game

Linesman Gibbons worked his first game in Dallas

Tonight, NHL linesman Ryan Gibbons from West Vancouver, BC worked his first Regular NHL Season Game when the Pittsburgh Penguins visited the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

He was joined on the ice by fellow referees Tom Kowal and Graham Skilliter while his partner on the lines was Shane Heyer. Gibbons who is a former Seattle Thunderbird player was also a sixth-round draft pick (178th overall) of the Phoenix Coyotes in 2003.

The NHLOA and its members would like to congratulate Ryan on his first NHL game and wish him a long and successful career.
