NHL Officials Promoted

4 NHLOA members have been promoted to full-time NHL status for the 2018-2019 season

Published: September 18, 2018

The 2018-2019 NHL season is right around the corner and our roster of 34 full-time referees and 34 full-time linesmen, along with our minor league officials are ready to go for another great year.

Last year we saw 4 NHL officials retire from the ice. Referees Tom Kowal and Dave Jackson, as well as Linesmen Mark Wheler and Shane Heyer. These gentlemen will surely be missed on the ice and we wish them the best in retirement.

The National Hockey League has filled those vacant spots with 4 of our Minor League officials. Referees Pierre Lambert and Chris Schlenker, and Linesmen Libor Suchanek and Travis Gawryletz have been promoted to full-time NHL status.
